Songwriter's Sanctuary presented by Heartland Song Network

You're invited to share your original song in an open mic style format. We encourage a safe space and listening room experience to nurture the work of artists of all levels. This event is no cost for performers and open to the public! Sign up in advance using our Eventbrite registration:
Songwriter's Sanctuary Sign-Up
The Format:
Each participating songwriter will get the chance to play one original song (solo or accompanied by no more than one other person). The songwriter may introduce themselves and tell the name of the song (if it has one). In the interest of time, please avoid long descriptions. We want to make sure everyone who signs up gets a chance to perform. This is a family friendly event so please use discretion on the song selection and description of the song. After the one song per songwriter rotation has been completed, those who wish to do another song in rotation shall commence if time allows.
Those who care to have conversation about their songwriting and/or a particular song shall network and collaborate in an adjacent room. After the rotations have completed and time is available, voluntary song rounds may be organized.
This is a listening room environment. Phones must be turned to silent and no talking during a performance. Please respect the performers!
